I was so excited to start my Umbraco project to move WebDatamation site from DotNetNuke to Umbraco CMS, until I hit a brick wall. Umbraco can’t work 100% on Medium trust.
Now this shocks me. Most of the personal websites and small business websites are hosted on Shared hosting facilities and most of them don’t support full trust or high trust. Now for WebDatamation, I can move it to one of our dedicated servers and take the risk of moving to High/Full trust. My Datacenter network guy advises me not to do so. At this point I am stuck and need to make a decision.
If there are any of you who need Full/High Trust for your Umbraco hosting and would like to host it for a monthly fee, let me know. I am trying to get a new server added to our datacenter and to offset the cost, I am looking for other Umbraco fans who would like to host their sites on this server for a monthly fee.
